Friday night we hosted a murder mystery dinner with some church friends. And by hosted, I mean we provided a house and we attended, and that's pretty much it. I've never participated in anything like this before, and to be honest, I was NOT looking forward to it. It involves dressing up and acting out parts. Enough said... not my thing! I requested a minimal part that involved little to no speaking/acting. I invented my own part; Jessica Janitor. I could wear jeans and a denim shirt, little to no acting, and I could just clean up all the messes. Now that's my style. But, alas, no! I was given the part of Dolly Dancer; a bubbly, talkative, dramatic, cheer leading, homecoming queen ... pretty much the opposite of my real personality.
So, how was it? It was awkward, and weird, and
(yes, I will admit it) a lot of fun!

| How can you not have fun when you get to be crowned homecoming king and queen? I'll admit it - we are way cooler now than we ever were in high school! |
I've been crowned "Best Blog Commenter" !!!! Woo hoo!!! It's pretty cool to have that title, and IT wasn't even rigged....
