Fosalia - Monday's Menu

One of my absolute favorite Ethiopian recipes on the planet, and easy too! I'm about 95% sure fosalia is what this dish is called - readers, am I correct??

4 cups raw string green beans
1/2 - 1 cup baby carrots, sliced in half down the middle
1/2 medium onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp berbere

Cook onions and garlic in oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients, simmer on medium/low until green beans and carrots are to desired tenderness (approx 25 minutes).

  2. I am Ethiopian and I approve that recipe. Yes, it is called fosolia and it is my favorite too.
